Here is the backstory. He was born 6 weeks premature on the day of his dad’s visitation. You can see a photo of him being baptized in the hospital at 2 days old, the day before he endured his first surgery. He fought for his life through 4 surgeries before he was 5 months old. At 2 weeks old he was diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis.

 

The medications he was on cost a small fortune each month and I worried about the long-term side effects of them.$$$$ He typically had to be on at least 2-3 rounds of antibiotics a year. He would go to the Cystic Fibrosis clinic for a check-up at least every 3 months since he was born.
