hand reaching down to a hand reaching up

According to a study at NIHchronic stress is linked to the six leading causes of death: heart disease, cancer, lung ailments, accidents, cirrhosis of the liver, and suicide.

More than 75 percent of all physician office visits are for stress-related ailments and complaints.

Stress, anger, resentment, and other negative feelings impact our health significantly. Giving up those feelings can be freeing in so many ways. A biblically-based foundation can facilitate that healing. God is big enough to handle all our woes.

You DON’T have to:
walk down the aisle

So…

What must I do

to be saved?

The most important questions you will ever ask yourself: “What must I do to be saved?”, “What must I do to be brought into the right relationship with God?”, should concern everyone who has ever drawn breath! There is no relationship more important or has more eternal consequences than your relationship before God.

First, the bad news. We are all under sin (Romans 3:9). No one is righteous (Romans 3:10). We have all sinned and fallen short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23). The wages of our sin is death (Romans 6:23). Because of sin, you stand separated from God and destined to an eternity in Hell. You cannot save yourself. There are no deeds, or works you can perform to satisfy God’s righteous requirements.

Now, the good news! The gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord (Romans 6:23). That debt of sin you owed, has been paid in full by the Son of God, Jesus Christ our Lord. Christ was delivered for your offenses on Calvary’s cross (Romans 4:25). He took upon Himself your sin. He became sin for you, although He knew no sin (2 Corinthians 5:21). Why? In order that you might be made the righteousness of God (2 Corinthians 5:21).

“In whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace” (Ephesians 1:7).

Christ was raised again for your justification (Romans 4:25). Our Lord was bodily resurrected from the grave; conquering death. Now, based on the death, burial, and resurrection of the Son of God, God the Father saves you “by Grace, through faith; and not that of yourselves: it is the gift of God: not of works, lest any man should boast” (Ephesians 2:8&9). Titus 3:5 tells us, “Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us….”

In this day of Grace, what we must do to be saved, is to believe in the Lord Jesus Christ. By faith believe that He died for you, was buried, and rose again. When you believe, you are made a new creation, baptized by the Holy Spirit into the Body of Christ. Your sins are forgiven and you stand before our Holy and Righteous God perfect in Christ. You cannot earn it, work for it, or buy it. By faith believe today. God loves you and has provided the way for you to be reconciled to Him through Jesus Christ!
